Rede Ressoar · Initial White Paper
This initial white paper presents the foundational vision of the Rede Ressoar Climate Migration Token (RMT), built on our mission to regenerate territories, protect ecosystems, and offer community-driven refuge for climate migrants.
1. Purpose and Motivation
Rede Ressoar is a Brazilian non-profit association that coordinates a network of regenerative ecovillages. We merge agroforestry, bioconstruction, sociocracy, and community education to sustain territories capable of welcoming climate migrants by 2030.
The Climate Migration Token (RMT) is an instrument to register early supporters, enable community governance, and provide tangible benefits such as priority access to regenerative territories, experiences, and climate refuge programs.
2. Token Design (Preview)
Token type: community token (utility) with no promise of financial return. Supply is linked to hectares regenerated, ecosystems preserved, and social impact indicators.
Infrastructure: pilot issuance scheduled for 2026 on an Ethereum-compatible network (Polygon or similar) to guarantee low fees and broad accessibility, with the option to migrate to other EVM-compatible or regulated environments after community approval.
Utility: priority access to refuge spaces, co-governance proposals, discounts on immersion programs, and proportional recognition of community contributions.
3. Governance and Transparency
The association is governed under sociocratic principles, with independent financial auditing and quarterly transparency reports shared with supporters.
Token issuance parameters, treasury allocation, and use of funds are submitted to community assemblies, where token holders and active members have deliberation rights within defined thresholds.
4. Roadmap (2024 - 2028)
2024/2025: consolidation of Rede Ressoar Association, formalization of climate refuge protocols, and expansion of the Ecovila Cora project.
2026: pilot issuance of the Climate Migration Token on an Ethereum-compatible network (Polygon or equivalent), onboarding partner territories, and validating regeneration metrics.
2026/2027: consolidation and auditing of impact indicators, expansion of refuge capacity, and governance pilots with token holders.
2027/2028: international rollout, partnerships with cooperative exchanges, and scaling regenerative territories dedicated to climate migration programs.
5. Risks and Commitments
RMT is not a financial security; its value lies in community benefits and shared purpose. Regulatory hurdles, climate risks, and on-ground operational challenges remain and will be openly communicated.
Supporters are invited to co-create the journey, reinforcing Rede Ressoar as a living network that balances ecological regeneration, social justice, and spiritual care.
